Move past survival mode

Therapy for Trauma and PTSD in American Fork, Utah.

Services offered virtually throughout Utah

Trauma changes the way we show up in our daily lives. It robs us from the feeling of peace because it is too focused on the possibility of danger. When our nervous system is in a trauma response it prioritizes safety over connect, fear over trust, and protection over joy.

Therapy for Trauma and PTSD can help you rewire your nervous system from constant fight, flight, freeze, and fawn - to rest and digest. Reach out if you want to stop reliving your worst experiences, are exhausted from being on high alert, and ready to be yourself again.

Honoring the strength it took you to survive to past, while compassionately building the life you want now.

What to expect when working with me…

Step One:

My first priority is for you to feel safe. I do that through creating a space that is judgement free, filled with understanding, and unconditional positive regard. I also will give you the tools to feel safe and stable in your daily life.

Step Two:

Together we will identify patterns and beliefs that are not benefiting you. We will identify your core wounds that are causing current distress, so you can reprocess and rewrite your story.

Step Three:

We will utilize an evidence-based approach to trauma therapy. We will reprocess experiences that feel stuck with one foot in the present and one foot in the past. Making sure you feel safe, grounded, and supported the entire time.

Step Four:

Once you have decreased the triggers of past memories, let go of negative beliefs, and replaced with positive beliefs, you will integrate all the new information your body has learned into your life.
